BALLADS vs. BULLYING Music Contest

 

In 2012 the first Ballads vs. Bullying Music Contest was held. The contest encouraged middle and high school students to create and produce songs committed to addressing and combating bullying.

 

Commencing Monday, October 21st, STAND UP New Hampshire will conduct the BALLADS vs BULLYING music contest.

 

This contest encourages middle and high school students to create and produce songs committed to addressing and combating bullying. Each entry will be judged by a panel of of knowledgeable staff and select community leaders.

 

The top 3 entries will also have the opportunity to perform their song LIVE before the thousands attending the STAND UP New Hampshire 2013, Friday, November 15th anti-bullying rally at the Whittemore Center in Durham, NH.

 

The BALLADS vs BULLYING winner will be selected via an in-arena student vote utilizing a cell phone driven instant voting technology. The winner will be announced near the end of the program and will be called out on stage to perform with the other selected contest contestants.

 

For the grand prize, the winning performer(s) will have their song

professionally produced by Bristol Entertainment, at a local studio, and promoted on the STAND UP New Hampshire website.
